The Institute For Natural Resources
The Institute for Natural Resources (TINR), is a think tank in agriculture and natural resources at the grassroot. TINR is a Trust registered under the Bombay Public Trusts Act 1950 (Reg. No. F/481, Pune) and a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. It is a living lab in the field of agriculture and natural resources. TINR is engaged in capacity building, conducting awareness programmes, policy advocacy, innovative experiments, research & development, agri-entrepreneurship, agroforestry, climate change, forest accounting, etc in Western Ghats.

Western Ghat Agro & Forest Museum
Western Ghat Agro & Forest Museum Has A Planted Collection Of Numerous Species Of Flowers, Plants, Fruits, Medicinal Plants, Spices, Shrubs And Grasses Planted Over 5 Acres Of Land. It Is Living Lab For Agroforestry.
Research Studies
The Institute for Natural Resources has conducted various research studies. One such important research study is on forest accounting of Goa.This research project entitiled “Forest Accounting of Goa” funded by Goa Forest Department.
MR. PARASHRAM PATIL
Prof. Dr. Parashram Patil is an Indian agricultural economist and a well-known international expert in the field of agriculture and natural resources economics. He is a researcher, author, innovator, policy expert and entrepreneur. His journey as an agricultural labourer to become an international agricultural economist is noteworthy and inspirational. He is the founder & president of The Institute for Natural Resources (TINR). His research includes analysis and policy advice on agriculture market and development of value chains, agriculture trade liberalizations and negotiations at WTO with key focus on likely implications on developing country interests, Forest Accounting, Climate Change.

This model is developed at farm and has materialized its outcome both actual and estimated. Dr Parashram Patil is an agricultural economist & founder of The Institute for Natural Resources. He has been working on this model since last 2 years to materialize the thought into a demonstrable working model. The agroforestry sustainable food system model site is located at Gudewadi Village, Chandgad, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. The Agroforestry substantiable food system model is based on the practices of sustainable agroforestry. It is inclusive of agricultural crops, trees & animal husbandry.
